ABOUT NICOLE'S DANCING ANGELS FOUNDATION
Welcome to Nicole's Dancing Angels! Nicole Allbrook was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She was cherished by her family, friends, and dance family. Dance was her passion, and she began taking dance from Monica Smith's studio, Exclusively Ballet, when she was four years old and continued until age 18. Nicole was tragically killed on February 23, 2013 by a drunk driver at the age of 24. Nicole was a young woman of strong faith, which has been a source of comfort and strength for the family.
Nicole's father, mother, and brother founded Nicole's Dancing Angels Foundation in 2014 to keep her spirit alive. The first annual golf tournament was held, and the event has been growing ever since. The Foundation has awarded dance scholarships each year to deserving young dancers! Nicole's parents have spoken at area high schools about the importance of making good choices. The dance studio hosts an annual father-daughter dance so the dads can get on the dance floor too! In 2019, the Foundation began a partnership with Jaclyn Shiflett's studio, The Dance Studio. Jaclyn knew Nicole and danced with her at Exclusively Ballet. We look forward to continued success and to growing the NDA family! |
